Takeaways from Day 3 at the scouting combine

TOP STORY: Keystone graduate and Kentucky tight end C.J. Conrad was sent home after the medical evaluation revealed a potential heart issue. Quarterbacks Dwayne Haskins and Kyler Murray talked and the workouts began with the offensive linemen and running backs.

FRIENDLY FIGHT: Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa has been the No. 1 pick in the vast majority of mock drafts for months. If the Cardinals trade the pick, he could get competition from a former teammate, quarterback Dwayne Haskins.

“I talked with Nick yesterday,” Haskins said. “He said I could go first and he’d go second.”

HE GOT AWAY: Defensive end Brandon Graham seemed like the perfect free agent for the Browns, but he unexpectedly re-signed with the Eagles.

SWING AND A MISS: Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray picked the NFL over professional baseball, so he should’ve had a better answer when asked what he loves about football.

“That’s a tough question. Everything that football takes out of you, it’s all worth it. Honestly, you want me to break down the game of football? That’s tough. There’s so much to love about it. Obviously, having success plays a big part in it. Nobody likes to lose. For me, I haven’t done a lot of losing, so it’s always been fun to me. It’s always been the love of my life. So the fact that I get to keep playing it in the NFL is a dream come true for sure.”
