Browns sign guard Michael Dunn, reinforce position hurt by opt-outs

The Browns signed guard Michael Dunn on Sunday, beginning to restock the position that was depleted by players opting out of the season.

Dunn (6-foot-5, 315 pounds) was an undrafted rookie in 2017 and has spent time on the Rams’ and Jaguars’ practice squads.

Guards Drew Forbes, Colby Gossett and Malcolm Pridgeon were among the five Browns who chose not to play this season due to coronavirus concerns. That left only starting left guard Joel Bitonio and presumptive starting right guard Wyatt Teller listed as guards on the roster.

The Browns also waived tight end Nate Wieting, keeping the roster at 80 players.
