The team announced the times for the four games Friday.

Notes: Za’Darius Smith trade becomes official

The preseason opener had been set, as the Browns will face the New York Jets in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton on Thursday, Aug. 3, at 8 p.m. The additional game will require the Browns to report to training camp a week early in July.

The only preseason game at Cleveland Browns Stadium will be the following week, Friday, Aug. 11, against the Washington Commanders. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Browns will hit the road for the final two games.

Analysis: Za’Darius Smith trade latest example of sense of urgency, willingness to spend

They’ll play at the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 7:30 p.m. after a pair of joint practices in Philadelphia.

The preseason will conclude Saturday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl in February.
