Amari Cooper hopped on the bus to Pittsburgh on Sunday and remained questionable for the game Monday night vs. the Steelers.
It seems unlikely he’ll play after leaving practice Saturday with a groin injury but wasn’t ruled out and the injury isn’t believed to be serious.
Cooper, 29, is the team’s No. 1 receiver and played every game last year, his first with the Browns. He led the team with 78 catches for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns.
If Cooper is sidelined or slowed, Elijah Moore, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Marquise Goodwin and rookie Cedric Tillman would get more playing time.
