Rookie Mike Hall Jr. charged with domestic violence after incident at Avon home (AUDIO)

Audio of the 911 call to Avon police:

Mike Hall Jr.’s homecoming with the Browns took an allegedly violent turn Monday night, leaving his future with the Browns in doubt.

Hall, a rookie defensive tackle, put a gun to his fiancée’s temple Monday night at their Avon house, saying “I will f—— end it all. I don’t care,” according to the fiancée’s account in the incident report obtained by The Chronicle-Telegram.

Hall was arrested Tuesday morning by Avon Police, charged with domestic violence and arraigned in Avon Lake Municipal Court. He pleaded not guilty and was released on $10,000 bond.

His lawyer, Kevin Spellacy, didn’t immediately return a message from The Chronicle seeking comment.

“We look forward to a fair process,” Spellacy told television reporters outside the courthouse. “He’s got a bright future. He’s a helluva football player.”

Hall’s next court date is scheduled for Sept. 10 at 9:30 a.m.

Hall, 21, grew up in Cleveland and started his high school career at Garfield Heights before moving to Streetsboro. He attended Ohio State and was the No. 54 pick in the NFL Draft in April.

The Browns issued a statement that they were aware of the incident. They will have to decide whether to keep Hall on the roster or cut ties.

The NFL will investigate and Hall would be subject to discipline under the personal conduct policy, including a multigame suspension.

The mother of Hall’s fiancée called 911 around 10 p.m. but the call was quickly disconnected. When the dispatcher called back, the woman said Hall had pushed her daughter and struck her with a baby bottle. Hall and the alleged victim have an 11-month-old daughter together.

Hall’s fiancée told police the argument started after she asked Hall to pay for her 5-year-old daughter’s $1,500 dental procedure.

According to the incident report, the alleged victim said Hall then threw her belongings outside and dragged her along the porch and driveway. He damaged a door frame and punched a hole in the wall as the incident continued, according to the report.

The woman’s mom told police she saw Hall choke the alleged victim by the neck, push her head through a wall and break open a bedroom door to drag her out. She didn’t seek medical attention.

The report stated there were kids in the house, which the alleged victim said they’ve lived in for six months. The police found damage in the house and two handguns, a .40-caliber Glock and a 9mm Smith & Wesson.

Hall wasn’t at the house when police arrived. The women said they had been locked out.

“We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall, Jr. last night,” a Browns spokesman said in a statement. “We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at the time.”

Hall made his preseason debut Saturday night against the Packers at Cleveland Browns Stadium and said he had about 10 family and friends in attendance.

The Browns didn’t practice Tuesday but had a walkthrough. They will practice against the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday and Thursday at Browns headquarters in Berea.
